While pipleline cleaning is in progress, high pressure water jet within the main pipleline will pass the point where your house drains connect to the main. On rare occasions it has been reported that change in air pressure has been sufficient to blow the water seal from the toilet pans. Although this is an extremely rare occurrence, we nevertheless suggest that while your toilet is not in use you cover the toilet pan with an old towel and leave the seat and lid down. This simple precaution will minimise any problems in the unlikely event of this occurring.
A nervous flat we had for a few days!! Not so worried about when we were off the toilet but what about when your on!?! Also gave no date of when this was going to happen so really we should still be a little nervous :)
